Additional Terms for Business Advertisers
Version: 1.0 | Effective: 23 July 2026
These terms supplement the general Terms for every Business Advertiser. If you advertise in trade/business, these apply even if you incorrectly selected “Private”.
1. Business details
Provide and keep current your legal/trade name, entity type, principal address, authorised contact, customer-care/grievance details, GSTIN where applicable, and category licences/registrations. The Company may verify these privately.
2. Consumer-law compliance
You are solely responsible for your goods/services, advertisements and dealings with consumers. You must comply with the Consumer Protection Act, E-Commerce Rules, Legal Metrology requirements, tax/invoice requirements, misleading-advertisement and dark-pattern rules, and category-specific law.
3. Accuracy and substantiation
Maintain evidence for price, performance, comparison, discount, scarcity, stock, origin, warranty, testimonial, certification, licence, delivery and result claims. Disclose material terms before a consumer commits.
4. Orders and transactions
My Classifieds ordinarily facilitates enquiries, not checkout for your goods/services. You—not the Company—are responsible for contracting, delivery, invoice, warranty, return/refund, product safety, tax and after-sales obligations. Do not represent otherwise.
5. Enquiry data
Use enquiry data only to respond and transact as reasonably expected. Obtain separate consent before unrelated marketing. Maintain access security and delete data no longer needed.
6. Paid services
Business listing purchases follow the Refund Policy. Charges are for advertising services and do not depend on commercial results. Taxes will be stated on the Company’s invoice as applicable.
7. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you indemnify the Company and its officers for third-party claims, consumer orders, penalties and reasonable costs arising from your content, goods/services, transaction, licence, tax, privacy conduct or breach, except to the extent caused by the Company.
8. Suspension
The Company may request documents, correct classification, restrict ads, refuse promotion, suspend or terminate for risk/non-compliance. Lawful consumer and regulator cooperation is mandatory.
9. Business dispute process
First use the Grievance Policy. The parties may voluntarily mediate a business-to-business dispute. Any separate arbitration must be contained in a specifically accepted written commercial agreement; these public terms do not remove statutory consumer or regulator jurisdiction.
