Intellectual Property Complaint Policy

1. Respect for rights

Users may submit only content, trade marks, photographs, text and other material they own or are authorised to use. My Classifieds may remove infringing content and restrict repeat infringers.

2. Complaint

Send a notice through /contact or connect@myclassifieds.in containing:

• claimant’s name, address, email and telephone;

• identification of the copyright, trade mark or other right;

• registration details where applicable;

• exact ad URL/ad ID and the material complained of;

• explanation of infringement;

• proof of ownership/authority;

• a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorised;

• a statement that the information is accurate;

• consent to share the notice with the affected user where legally permissible; and

• physical/electronic signature.

An agent must attach authority.

3. Initial action

We may seek clarification, preserve evidence, disable clearly infringing material, notify the affected user and decide the complaint under applicable law and intermediary timelines. A complaint about ownership/title of the listed item may require a court or competent authority if it cannot be resolved as a content-right issue.

4. Response/counter-notice

The affected user may respond with:

• identity/contact;

• decision/ad reference;

• proof of ownership/licence, permission, fair dealing or other lawful basis;

• a statement of good faith and accuracy; and

• consent to appropriate legal process.

We may restore content where the complaint is withdrawn, not substantiated or law permits restoration, unless a court/order requires continued restriction.

5. Repeat infringement

Repeated substantiated infringement may result in warning, upload restrictions, suspension or termination. We consider severity, frequency, good-faith correction and legal orders.

6. Misrepresentation

False or abusive notices/counter-notices may cause account restriction and legal liability. This policy is not legal advice and does not decide complex ownership disputes conclusively.
